MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 May 06 Observer(s): Tavarez Institution(s): University of Michigan Instrument: CCDS Worked for 2 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Mid: Clear, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Some cirrus clouds visible, during first few hours of night. Otherwise a good nite. Problems with the Guiding. I fiddled with the guide rates and eventually was able to guide for a short time before the star drifted from the guide box. Perhaps some key parameters were reset when the computers came back up from the power outage this afternoon.
