MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Nov 15

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

First night on ModSpec using Templeton.  It was also a first
using the pcguider+DTI. I lost a little time in the learning
curve.  I targeted nearby galaxies in our search for black
holes.  Templeton did cause fringes with about a 10% amplitude.
I took many quartz flats with the hope of correcting this.
The fringing pattern was fairly repeatable in the flats.
