MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Oct 19

Worked for 6 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Cirrus, Winds Calm
   End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

In afternoon while setting up the observing configuration
the grating tilting mechanism was found broken beyond 
immediate repair so the CCDS was exchanged for Modspec
to do a different program.

The cursor on chichon's two screens tends to freeze up the
workspace. Have not found a solution yet.
