MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Oct 22

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing <1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing <1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing <1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, patchy thin cirrus

Observing Summary:

Chichon seem to freeze up once every 24 hours at least.
It is NOT loose cables as suspected yesterday. I had to
attempt rebooting it several times before it surfaced.

The dome went funny at some point, refusing to move with
telescope, so had to home it and reset the encoders. I had
to do that twice before it coorporated
