MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2001 Sep 20 Observer(s): Alves Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: 8k Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the summary for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Observing Summary: clouds early, then cleared in morning the CCD was at 60 mTorr! I had filled dewar after dinner and images were fine during night. It looks like it got warm around 4:30, based on inspection of images lost vacuum?
