MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Jan 10 Observer(s): Halpern, Jackson Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: Mk III Worked for 12 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Intermittent clouds prevented observing at the beginning but it cleared up and the seeing was quite good until the ambient temperature dropped below the mirror temperature.
