MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Jan 16

Worked for 0.5 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Fog all night.
   Beg: Seeing 3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Fog/Low Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Opened briefly at start, got a few flats and focused,
but then RH climbed sharply and the remainder of the 
night was foggy or overcast.  Two minor problems: (1) the 
fan on the guide computer is making a loud rattle; (2) around
4 AM Chichon did a  PANIC - asynchronous memory fault  and 
rebooted.  No impact on observing.
