MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Mar 13 Observer(s): Noel-Storr Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: CCDS Worked for 5 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 12:30 until 4:45. Beg: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate Mid: Clear, Winds Moderate End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: The temperature droped steadily causing focus difficulties during long observations. Plus there were some high clouds at the start of the night. The humidity rose steadily, and at 12:30 the air-con sensor reported 85%... followed shortly afterwards by the outside sensor. High humidity remained until 4:45 when it dropped rapidly, I opened and observed for about 20 more mins before the humidty had risen again (on the air con computer), being followed by the outside sensor. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2002 Mar 14 [5:39:44]
