MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 May 08 Observer(s): Crotts Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: 8K Worked for 10 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Autoguider (and handpaddle) stopped functioning twice, for no apparent reason. When guider ceased, stars were still seen in guider monitor, and star counts in guide box were still being acquired. No motion was being applied to scope, however.
