MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 May 23

Worked for 8 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing <~2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm, thin cirrus@sunset
   Mid: Seeing <~2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing <~2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Had a few glitzes with the head electronics on CCDS early
in the evening, but got it up again (see trouble report).
As I was finishing up I had more problems with it. As I was
about to take the last calibration data I needed, the Head
electronics crashed again. This time I couldn't revive it
and had to give up. The tricks I had learned earlier failed.
I think the Head Electronics is quite sick.
