MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Nov 02

Instrument: Wilbur + MODSPEC

Worked for 8 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm
   End: Overcast, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

It was very cloudy again tonight. I was able to obtain spectra
of some template stars in the early evening, but by the middle
of the night I was unable to see even these stars. I was only
able to obtain 1 20-minute exposure of a galaxy around 9PM.
The rest of the time, the clouds were too thick to even see
the galaxies.
