MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Nov 11 Observer(s): Jim Pizagno Institution(s): OSU Instrument: Echelle Worked for 12+ hours (all night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Winds from 10pm until 6am. Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing >2 arcsec, Clear, Winds High Observing Summary: No problems to report regarding the telescope operation. The weather was great for the first few hours, but gust of winds up to 20 Mph from the North did not allow optimal observing for the rest of the night. Seeing was typically greater than 2-arcsec, and guiding was hard to impossible depending on how close the telescope was pointed to the North (due to winds). ------------------------------ Submitted on 2002 Nov 12 [7:04:38]
