MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Nov 25 Observer(s): Jules Halpern Institution(s): Columbia U. Instrument: Echelle CCD Direct Worked for 5.5 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from now until then. Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: After a completely overcast and hopeless afternoon, the sky cleared miraculously a couple of hours after sunset. Worked until 1:30 AM, at which time the sky quickly became mostly cloudy again. Watched the clouds and bright moon for an hour more, then gave up.
