MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Oct 23 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Echelle Direct Worked for 7 hours (off and on through the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Imaging of cataclysmic variables, mostly for astrometry. Equipment worked fine but struggled with intermittent clouds and humidity near the limit. The weather was clear for maybe an hour total, but could work in between some of the other stuff; closed for several hours off and on. Seeing wasn't too bad, curiously enough. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2002 Oct 24 [5:54:56]
