MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Oct 27

Instrument: modspec + echelle

Worked for 1 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 9 PM until end.
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Clear, Winds Light & Variable, high humidity
   End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable, high humidity

Observing Summary:

Afternoon had lots of low cloud and occasional sprinkles, but
it cleared out nicely around sunset - however, humidity was 
high.  It dropped low enough to open for one hour between around
8 and 9 PM MST, but then it climbed again and stayed there for
the rest of the night.  Very frustrating since the night quickly
became perfectly clear (moon was up so clouds would have been
visible).  Guider computer seems to be a little better since
it was turned off for quite a while, but it's still obnoxious.
