MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2002 Sep 09 Observer(s): Paust, Krusberg Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Echelle Direct No Observing (see comments below) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity all night. Observing Summary: Sky cleared up around 2:30; presumed it was the usual sucker hole, although it remained clear for several hours. We opened the dome, but unfortunately the high humidity prevented us from observing. The highlight of the evening was observing various conspicuous celestial objects (Pleiades, Saturn, Venus, Andromeda) through binoculars, as well as naked eye observations of constellations. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2002 Sep 10 [4:14:51]
