MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Apr 01

Instrument: CCDS 600 l/mm, 2nd order grating

Worked for 7 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 6pm until 9pm.
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.9 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 2.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds High

Observing Summary:

Observational program: halpha spectroscopy of nearby, late-type
galaxies.

thick bands of cirrus pushed through at the beginning of the 
night giving way to thin clouds for the rest of the night
