MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Apr 20

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Trouble getting the nitrogen tanks to work at the start 
of the night.  Initialized the support system and turned 
on the nitrogen -- repeated 4 times. Hard point readings wouldn't
drop below 50.  Then, as soon as I slewed to a target, the hard 
point readings immediately jumped down to 30!  

nitrogen pressure started at 1440psi, dropped to 1100 by 4am.

turned out to be a good night!
