MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Aug 29 Observer(s): Fesen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Echelle direct Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 0.80 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 0.75 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 0.65 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Skies cleared off at sunset and was probably photometric most of the night. Seeing was excellent again, being between 0.65 and 0.85 arcsec for 10-40 minute exposures. The seeing appeared to get better as the primary and secondary mirror temperatures approached that of the nightime air temp.
