MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Jun 23 Observer(s): John Thorstensen Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Modspec + Echelle CCD Worked for 9 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1-3 arcsec, Clear, Winds High End: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: Another very clear night with moderate to high-ish winds all night and highly variable seeing. Seeing was better than last night with some long intervals of good seeing. Telescope tracking failed on one occasion just as in previous nights, not worth another trouble report at this point. Things went very smoothly altogether. Continued spectroscopy of cataclysmics, several orbital periods are already in the bag for this run. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2003 Jun 24 [5:07:30]
