MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 May 16

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing .9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing .7 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

good night.

spied on distant balls of luminous yellow gas.  (they
didn't seem to notice.)  saw a bat.  stepped on a scorpion.  
ate veggie chips.  

seem to have developed a curious allergic reaction to ximtool 
images; haven't stopped sneezing all night.

technical problems: joe's pretty put out that we don't get the 
cable station that carries the basketball games.  surely, 
something can be done about this.
