MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Oct 02

Instrument: Wilbur + MODSPEC

Worked for 13 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 1.2+ arcsec, Clear, Winds High, wind gusts 35+ mph

Observing Summary:

I obtained spectra of 5 galaxies and assorted template stars. 
While the weather was calm for the first half of the night, the
wind grew increasingly strong towards the end of the night
with winds gusts 36+ mph at the end of the night, and sustained
winds of 10-20 mph.
