MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Oct 03 Observer(s): Monique Aller Institution(s): University of Michigan Instrument: Wilbur + MODSPEC Worked for 7 hours (first half of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: High Humidity from 11:45 until end. Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate, humidity ~70% End: Clear, Winds Moderate, Humidity up to 99% Observing Summary: I obtained major axis spectra of 2 galaxies, as well as a single major axis exposure for a third galaxy and spectra of assorted template stars, before I was forced to shut down at midnight due to high humidity. The humidity remained high (reaching 99.7% at one point) until shortly before morning twilight, at which point it fell to just below the limit and the temperature dropped significantly. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2003 Oct 4 [4:40:07]
