MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2003 Oct 10

Instrument: modspec + echelle CCD

Worked for 1 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Humidity from 20:30 until dawn.
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable, RH became high
   Mid: Clear, Winds Calm, RH high 
   End: Clear, Winds Light & Variable, RH high

Observing Summary:

Cleared off nicely after dinner, we got a couple of standard
stars and one program exposure before clouds returned; then it
cleared briefly and we opened again for 20 minutes before the 
humidity shot up.  Remained exasperatingly clear for the rest
of the night as the railings dripped etc.  Valuable training 
for new observers, otherwise a real heartbreaker.
