MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Feb 11

Worked for 12 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

I received error messages reflecting a lack of communication with the slave power.  After getting ahold of Bob Barr, we solved the problem finally by powering down the slave, then the master, then powering back up.  This came at a bad time, as it prevented my taking evening twilight flats and I missed an hour of observing.  
It was relatively smooth sailing from then on, however.  The only other glitch occurred when detcom froze up during a 20-minute exposure.  
Conditions were photometric all night, seeing was subarcsec
