MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Feb 13 Observer(s): Matthew Walker Institution(s): Michigan Instrument: 8k Worked for 10 hours (off and on through the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 7UT until 9UT. Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Imaged fields in M31 without problem. When imaging in Leo, wind knocked the telescope around a lot, made even a 5-minute exposure impossible. Wind finally died down. Then clouds rolled in and stayed for ~2hours. When clouds cleared, conditions were stable the rest of the night. Pretty bad seeing all night. I was spoiled by my first night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Feb 14 [7:35:40]
