MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Feb 19 Observer(s): Aeree Chung Institution(s): Columbia University Instrument: Nellie Worked for 4 hours (off and on through the night) Bad weather most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.8 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable, T=41F, RH=70% Mid: Seeing 2.1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, T=38F, RH=78% End: Seeing --- arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm, T=38F, RH=77% Observing Summary: Patches of clouds were seen at the beginning. The sky was partly cloudy, partly clear till 21 MST or so and the seeing was ~1.8 . It was on and off for a while. After 22MST, it became too cloudy for observing. At 2MST (20th) telescope was shut. Currently 6:50 MST (20th), it is still mostly cloudy (T=38F, RH=77%). No such strong winds as yesterday for the whole night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Feb 20 [6:53:50]
