MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Feb 29

Instrument: echelle CCD direct + 2in FW

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Cirrussy episodes esp. in last 2/3 of night, but seeing was
mostly good to excellent -- down below 0.7 arcsec briefly. 

Mirror did not cool during the day because of temperature
sensor problem noted earlier, but fortunately it was a little
warmer tonight so the mirror wasn't warm relative to ambient.
