MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Jun 08 Observer(s): Gezari Institution(s): Columbia Instrument: MkIII Worked for 8.5 hours (all night) Conditions were Photometric most of the night. Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Mid: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate Observing Summary: A smooth night of observing, after successfully focusing and pointing the telescope (which were way off at the start of the night). Seeing was poor due to windy conditions. The best focus of the slit camera seemed to differ from the best focus of the telescope...hopefully this can be improved by refocusing the slit camera tomorrow during the day. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Jun 9 [4:52:36]
