MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Jun 12 Observer(s): Terndrup Institution(s): OSU Instrument: Templeton Worked for 7 hours (all night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Thin cirrus here and there at sunset. At Bob Barr's suggestion, we opened the mirror covers with the telescope pointing south. This seems to have gotten the baffle out of the way and the mirror covers opened normally. A nice night. Mainly good seeing with occasional periods of large image motion, especially early in the night. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Jun 13 [4:28:13]
