MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Jun 28

Instrument: modspec + echelle

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Spent the night doing spectra. A few times during the night, the telescope would lose control of itself and start moving without user input. I tried to stop using  stop  in xtcs, but it didnt respond. I ended up moving to a different source and then it was fine.
