MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 Mar 10 Observer(s): Gavin Dalton Institution(s): Oxford (Dartmouth) Instrument: 8k camera Worked for 7 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 1am until close. Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Patchy cirrus visible at sunset, became progressively worse during the first half of the night. By moonrise this was ~70% cloud cover, but my primary observing field happened to sit in teh clear patch to the W. When this field set I gave up as moon+cirrus was too bright for stable guiding ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 Mar 11 [15:39:12]
