MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 May 11

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 2.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable
   Mid: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

I had trouble zipping my data and backing it up on tape on 
vesuvius which seems to think it's dealing with ascii-files 
instead of fits-file while IRAF just keeps reading them 
normally. Apart of this it was a good night. It started with 
a high seeing but became much better later on. Around 
midnight there seemed to be some cirrus blockening a bit 
my targets but the rest of the night was clear.
