MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 May 12

Worked for 1 hours (last half of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 2.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

I must not have properly cooled the camera because halfway 
through the night the CCD's were heating up so much I had to 
close down to recool it. It took untill 4 a.m. untill it had 
cooled down enough to continue, so in the end I only took one 
hour of usefull data, the data before shutdown was worthless. 
A real shame... it was such a clear night... makes for a not so 
happy observer here :-(
