MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2004 May 14 Observer(s): Paust Institution(s): Dartmouth Instrument: Echelle Worked for 5 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable Observing Summary: Given that it really looked cloudy in the afternoon, it's somewhat surprising to me that I got any observing done. The weather was very thin patchy clouds. However, I was able to monitor several lenses and observe a field in one of my globular clusters I also took advantage of the clouds to practice getting dome flats since we're going to be using all 5 UBVRI filters on some nights this week. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2004 May 15 [4:35:44]
