MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Aug 29

Worked for 7 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Clouds in the beginning of the night. Not many, but all in front of my objects.
Cleared out later and could observed without too many problems.
Two minor technical things: the TCS query times out every time and the guider focus is way off the telescope focus.
The little box in the control room to change the guider focus didn't help; it doesn't seem to work.
I had to slightly defocus my images to be able to keep guiding.
