MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Jul 08

Instrument: Apogee CCD photometer

Worked for 9 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

At 2 different times the dome tracking was not stable. The dome
continued to move back and forth by about 10 degree increments.
Moved the dome to 'home' position and then set to 'dome free'
and problem was solved. The telescope was at about HA=3 east,
dec=+8. Otherwise, all worked great! Another 3,000 images
in the can!
