MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 May 17 Observer(s): Bonfield, Schawinski Institution(s): Oxford University Instrument: TIFKAM/RETROCAM Worked for 5 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Mixed most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds all night. Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Patchy cloud at the start of the night interrupted observations. Managed to find a gap in the clouds and seeing was around 1 arcsec, so got some nice IR images. Later, sky became fairly clear, though never photometric, permitting optical observations with RETROCAM. Finally, ended night with IR imaging into twilight. Seeing remained good throughout. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2005 May 18 [5:07:21]
