MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 May 29

Worked for 7 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   High Winds all night.
   Beg: Seeing >2.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds High
   Mid: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds High
   End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds High

Observing Summary:

Surprise : the wind blows the remaining clouds away just before sunset !
Despite rather bad seeing & high winds a rather successful night.
Problems with pointing/tracking (cf. trouble report).
Beginning of night humidity had to be watched closely, but by midnight nice drop
to about 60% = out-of-danger-zone.
