MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Oct 10

Instrument: CCDS + Retrocam

Worked for 11 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Great night : instrument- AND weather-wise. 
Initial problems with the pointing seem to be my trademark in the first night,
so I wasn't worried about it when the telescopes tried to 'run away' a couple of times 
at the beginning of the night. Probably a flight reflex of the machine when I walk into the door.....

Seriously : the interplay of all parts works amazingly well !
The only problem encountered came when trying to burn the data on DVD - agung needs to be 'forced' to 
begin writing, even if it complains that it does not see a disc at all !
