MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Oct 12

Worked for 12 hours (all night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds from 10.30 until 6.
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 2.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds High

Observing Summary:

At the beginning of the night , 'there was a bad moon on the rise' - as C.C.R. sing so rightfully - with some of our targets being too close to it. When the later targets came up, the wind spring up as well and moved some clouds around. Rather bad weather conditions. At least the machines worked without problems.
