MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Sep 05

Instrument: modspec + echelle

Worked for 2 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Overcast, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Clouds were dominant tonight, making observations very 
difficult, when possible at all. Managed to get a handful of 
CV spectra, but closed an hour early due to overcast skies 
and no sign of them letting up.

One small problem with the hand paddle in the control room. The 
 West  button has begun to stick, making it hard to center 
the object in the slit.
