MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Sep 10

Instrument: modspec + echelle CCD

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1 arcsec, Clear, Winds Moderate
   End: Seeing 2 arcsec, Clear, Winds High

Observing Summary:

Good clear night, a few clouds to start.  Got windy late.

Trouble with South button on paddle, it causes telescope to
slew!  Same with paddle in the dome.  CCDcom offsets worked,
and guider commands telescope OK, so I could work. No time
lost, but this is serious.

Server is fragile, rebooted to type this.
