MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2005 Sep 30

Worked for 10 hours (all night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 0.9 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Clear night, good weather. Problem(s):

- Had to reinitialize Caliban and Prospero three time during 
the first half of the night. In the Prospero Status window it showed
the correct filename, etc. but after I did the observations (in all the 
cases where flats) the fits file were not being written to /lhome/data/
Never found them. 
The first two times happened when I was doing a new observation
(i.e. setting up new filename, type of obs., etc), the third 
time was a continuation.
