MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Aug 19

Instrument: Direct + Echelle

Worked for 7 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Clouds at the start of night, which cleared up around 10pm.
The rest of the night was generally clear with good seeing, but
there were many patches of thin cirrus clouds. I managed to
find clear spots to observe through.

I had problems moving the filter wheel to position 3. see trouble
report for details.
