MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Aug 20 Observer(s): S. Lepine Institution(s): AMNH Instrument: Direct + Echelle Worked for 8 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Beg: Overcast, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm End: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: Weather did not look promising at the beginning of the night, with lost of cirrus clouds and thunderstorms to the east and south. But the skies miraculously cleared up completely around 10:00PM, and I then resumed the parallax program. A few isolated patches of thin cirrus clouds were the only concern.
