MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Dec 04 Observer(s): Prieto Institution(s): OSU Instrument: CCDS + RETROCAM Worked for 10 hours (most of the night) Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night. No equipment or software problems were encountered. Seeing and Weather: Clouds from 0 UT until 4 UT. Beg: Seeing 1.7 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm Mid: Seeing 1.2 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm End: Seeing 0.8 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm Observing Summary: CCDS and Retrocam worked great, and the telescope worked fine too. The night started with some clouds to the N-NW that eventually moved over the zenith a couple of hours after sunset. I observed a couple of objects through clouds, but finally decided to wait. It got better after ~9-10pm, seeing varied from 1.7 (early in the night) to ~0.8-0.9 at the end. The best was 0.7 in g and 0.5 in i in 60sec images of a supernova. ------------------------------ Submitted on 2006 Dec 5 [7:13:01]
