MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Jan 02

Instrument: RETROCAM + CCDS

Worked for 6 hours (off and on through the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Smoke, Winds Moderate
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.6 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Searched for 2 GRBs through clouds.  Got spectra of one SN and
imaged a lensed QSO.  Spent most of the time waiting for breaks 
in the clouds.  Finally gave up at 5am.  

Will start running calibration script on CCDS before going to bed.
