MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Jan 14

Instrument: echelle CCD direct + 2in FW

Worked for 8.5 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Mixed most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.1 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Despite the weather forecast from the outset of 
the night of clouds all night, we managed to obtain 
a few hours of parallax observations, along with 
brighter stars when the clouds became thicker.  Eventually, 
the clouds got the best of us at 5 AM.
