MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observer's Report for 2006 Jan 27

Worked for 9 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Photometric most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Beg: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.5 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm
   End: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Clear, Winds Calm

Observing Summary:

Had an early glitch with the 8K giving messages about 
communication problems with the timing boards. After a few 
attempts restarting both detcom and vesuvius, I was finally able 
to get the instrument to stabilize. Smooth observing after that.
